Trust. It's imperative to your business.

Trust - not traffic - is the goal of marketing. Whether you sell a product or a service, without trust, you won't have a customer.

That's where I come in.

Great marketing is more than just getting your product in front of a customer - it's building a relationship.

Meet

First impressions matter. Period.

That's why it's essential that your web presence puts your best foot forward - strategically designed so you attract the right people. (That's what we call SEO.)

If they don't get the sense that they can trust you, they will swipe left faster than you can say "Tinder."

Now that you've met, it's vital to ask questions so you know who you are courting. (Inbound marketing, anyone?)

Once you know what they're into, you'll be able to add a little value to their life. Give them an eBook they actually care about.

They'll swoon, realizing that you were made for each other. That's when the partnership really takes off.

It's not enough to love them and forget them. No, this is a serious relationship.

Continue to pursue. Drip a little extra content their way. Communicate regularly.

This will make them feel (extra) loved, while simultaneously reminding them why you are such a rockstar.

Oh, the beauty of inbound marketing.

A strong web presence is the first key to making a great first impression, but that doesn't stop with a website. I can help you take a divide and conquer approach, strategically integrating content from a variety of platforms so that all of the awesome people on the internet can find you.

Of course, we all know the internet is supersaturated with messages, so you want to make sure that yours POP.

As we are building out your strategy, we have to keep in mind the type of person we want to attract, the Buyer Persona.

When using Hubspot Marketing Software, it looks something like this:

Write out the recipe in the form of a campaign. What's this campaign going to taste like when it's all said and done? Then start mixing.

Start with the base of a beautifully functional website.
Mix in a regularly updated blog.
Add in a variety of simple content through social media platforms.
Sprinkle in specifically selected keywords.

Hopefully by now, they are hooked on your content.

Why wouldn't they be? But if this relationship is going to work, you have to get to know them better.

In inbound marketing, you do this by directing them to your landing pages, where you have awesome content to give away. All you ask in return is that they share some information about themselves on a form.

These forms can be as simple as your heart desires, but the better your content, the more questions you get to ask. Just make sure you are asking the right things at the right time.

Just like dating, you don't want to get too serious too quickly.
Remember, we are building trust.

Yes, we want to turn those eyeballs into sales - but more importantly, we want to build a lasting partnership.

Now for the fun part.

So often, companies spend incredible amounts of time and energy in securing new customers, but then fail to to do the easy stuff - managing existing relationships.

That, my friends, is the glory of inbound marketing. The same tools you used to attract customers can also be used to build their loyalty and delight their socks off.

If you continue to add value to their life through producing quality content, they will look to you like the champion you are.

The next time they find themselves in damsel-in-distress mode, they will call your name, waiting for you to swoop in on your white steed to save the day.
